We've been giving Summit, whole, real foods, since the moment he first entered our lives. Along with his usual Ollie (read more on our experience here), he loves to nibble on carrots, cucumbers, blueberries, strawberries... the list goes on and on. So when it comes to giving Summit treats, while I do have a few store bought brands I love (check out Old Mother Hubbard), a lot of times it's just as easy to make my own! Case in point, these pumpkin carrot yogurt bites. With just three ingredients, these are so simple to whip up and freeze in no time. Around the start of the New Year, we received an email from Summit's breeder, letting us know that one of his sisters lived near us in the city. Her owners were hoping to be put in touch with other litter mates and she was curious if we minded our information being shared. What better way to show your pup just how much you love them, then with these 3 ingredient dog treats?! These are incredibly easy to make and your furry friend will be sure to eat them up! I love to add these to Summit's meals, but he'll never say no to a one-off. While yogurt can be great for dogs, there are a few things to be cognizant of when choosing the type and brand of yogurt you use. Keep it Plain As with any foods you feed your pet, be sure to check the ingredient labels!  Flavored yogurts may contain high amounts of sugar or the sweetener, xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
